Rocky LOVES to open presents! He would tear into the paper and get the toy or treat out right away. He wasn't shy at all. Bullwinkle opened a few as well, but he wasn't quite as excited as Rocky. The pictures I got of Bullwinkle aren't as good because he's afraid of the camera.
Rocky's boldness didn't stop at opening presents. He went ahead and started emptying the stockings. There were lots of yummy treats for them to enjoy. I didn't clean the stockings up for a couple of days so Rocky would sneak downstairs (which required him to open the child gate at the top of the stairs -- he would push it open with his nose when I didn't latch it). Rocky would go down and shake the stockings until something good came out. It was very cute.
The kids all enjoyed the fruits of Rocky's labor. :) There was a lot of chewing and eating for a few days. Here Bullwinkle is enjoying his candycane (rawhide).
I love this next picture! I caught Delilah as she was licking her chops after enjoying one of her treats. By the way, Delilah is Bullwinkle's "girlfriend". They just adore each other. They wrestle, run, and play nearly every day.
Finally, this is Bullwinkle's other favorite thing. Linda (Delilah's mom), has the best scratching nails ever (so Bullwinkle says)! He always jumps on her lab and sticks his bum in her face trying to get her to scratch. Sometimes he settles down enough to just be loved. He knows he's king of the world!
